Fist.
I have to say though I have had very little respect for Lou over the years, thought he was overrated at times. Was scared when he was in net for team Canada as he was one of those guys that you don't know when he is going to give up that bad goal.
But you know what, I'm starting to like that crazy dancing italian. Yet another interview yesterday and the guy is just so well spoken given the circumstances.
I often wonder if Schneider is the one eventually dealt simply because the contract is easier to move, but in reality move Lou so I can cheer for him.
I thought they looked better last night. Starting to jell a little bit with the new players in the line-up. And on a positive note, I'm slowing catching up to Scooby in the draft this week.
Louongo Is Clearly The Better Goalie! Why Trade Him? If CS gets as much as some suggest he would in a trade, pack his frankin bags and get some quality help for these playoffs. The window is closing......

Luongo is not the better goalie. Schneider is faster, smarter, technically sounder and has a stronger core.
Honestly Ian, the first goal wasn't Schneiders fault. Did you look at the defense scrambling around? Plus you have to give credit to Benns shot. He only had two inches to fit that in and he did. It was perfect. The second one he was screened on. I'd like to see him battle a little more there. He's not playing up to his capabilities right now but we need to let him get in a groove. Luongo starts tonight but Schneider should get the next four or five.

OK, Sure, Roberto has done nothing over the years, has never stolen games, won a gold, been a captain etc,etc....And now he has a much better outlook on Life and Hockey in general. Cory has proven himself in all areas and deserves to be the #1 No Question.

It's weird, before this year, most fans of other teams said:
Roberto has done nothing over the years. He gets pulled in big games, Canada won the gold in spite of him, and the fact that he was captain was a joke!

Why the change? - nucks_94
because it's the Canucks. Whatever it takes to spin the argument in their favour works for them. Just ignore the trolls.

I was never one of those saying that, but I agree there was lots of Louongo Trashing. I think whats changed is that just about eveyone who watches Canuck games, thats not a Canuck fan, Can see that Roberto is the better goalie. I have never been Impressed with CS. Never!
Any goal from that angle is the goalies fault IMO - IanEsplen
It's tough. Does he stand up and get the shoulder on it and leave the bottom half at risk? Ya he could have saved it but it's not that easy. I wouldn't necessarily say he should have had it. It was a perfect shot.

This is consistent Schneider and I'm not even joking. He isn't in his top form yet this season but he'll get there.
Schnieder Looked Good In those Highlights Boinker, but still, are you willing to let him run with the #1, ship out Lou, and see what happens?? Whos the backup if Lack is hurt?? Maybe pick up DiPietro off wavers at Noon today??
Gonna have to play a good sound team defensive game tonight, or the Preds with exploit the turnovers/breakdowns. - LeftCoaster
Just need to keep it away from Rinne's glove hand, which means pretty much away from anywhere that his arm can reach, because he'll go across his body to make a glove save. But, one goal aught to do it. In the words of the immortal Bieska, Shots Shots Shots Shots Shots.
